Nieces and Nephews

Date: 28 January 2009 (reunion dinner on the 2nd day of Lunar New Year)

Venue: osc's home

Model: my nieces and nephews (not all of them in the pictures. Sylvia was angrying with one of the kids and locked herself in the room)

Meet my dear nephews, Chon and Jun (Alvin). These 2 boys are so attached to each other. Mum told me that whenever Chon heading home to Bintulu, he cries like a baby and Jun hides himself up for refusing to see his best buddy leaving.... :) 

Pheobe meets Phoebe. We don't have the kind of confusion at home as we don't really call their English name. Girl on spectacle, she is Phoebe, we call her Ah Bui. Yes, she was fat. She scored straight As in her UPSR and that creates quite a hoo-haa back there as her school is not well known.. :) Pheobe is all the way from KL. Yes, we call her English name at home and no worry as i said, no confusion..the reason being... Mum calls her.. "Shio Bi"- Chinese dumpling in hokkien.. hahah~!! A ballet dancer. We sat in front of TV on the 2nd day of the new year just to watch her danced in one of the local CNY TV program.Oh, there she is, the eldest of them all, the girl with her Taiwanese Idol pose....Michelle~!! If you know me well...you would probably know how much I hate this pose...and also the 1, 2, 3 pose....gosh...that's irritating...what to do?? blame it on myself..being old and untrendy... Again, we don't call her English name.... we call her.. Ah Bi. :) Wonder how does this name came about. She was with me since the very day she was born. 

And...there you go.. :) we were BBQ-ing at the courtyard.. and...yeah.... that shows who were working hard and who were not.. 

Gosh... miss the kids...  :) yeah..I love kids.. 

Pulau Ketam

Companion: Siyong, Megan, Zen

Was there for a day trip. Siyong was kind enough to drop by at my bro's place to pick me up for the trip. That was a cloudy morning. I was disturbed with the weather as I don't really enjoy carriying my gear in the wet weather...... Yes.. :) I love my gear even it is old and dated..  

The trip again stir me up... I always believe that "Life can be simple". I never deny that I am a "Kampung Boy" and deep down in me, I do hope that my life could be simple and yes...I hope I could get back to where I was soon... :) 

Have set my 5 years plan... and.... don't be suprise when I say... "I am going back...."

Aerin's wedding

Y.Huei & Aerin's wedding day...

Venue: Melacca

Aerin is a friend of mine which I met her in the Uni. She is the only Nyonya friend thus far that I have... When she sent out invitation on her wedding reception, the picture in mind is.. Nyonya wedding with Rendang, Curry etc.. hahaha.. Nope.. we were not served with traditional cuisine but... very much a chinese dishes... ok.. it is chinese food... :) 

But one thing that's made this wedding reception different was..  Aerin's family just somehow danced in the lunch....Not hip hop dance la.. Nyonya dance.. this is not the 1st time I see this as the last visit to Melacca, I was treated a drink in a pub and I saw aunties uncles were so sporty and they danced around the pub.. :)

This time round, I am not Aerin's wedding day official photographer.. so nothing much to share.. :) but good that I was there.. and the greatest of all is.. manage to meet up with lots of old buddies...

Now then is my turn... I went through exactly the same route as my last visit but this time round, I am doing it with a bunch of friends.. :) 

Same place.. same route.. but different experience.. that's why i don't mind visiting the same place more than once.. :)
